It is a sad reflection of this modern age that many traditions of art and crafter are disappearing. This may well be the last generation in many parts of the world of traditional arts and crafts. The young tend to move to the city for a faster lifestyle.

The Ark Project has several roles:

To preserve and record examples of the world of these artisans for future generations.
To provide much needed additional real income for the craftsmen and their families
Give them recognition in their own country and around the world
Be an educational tool for the recipients of the ark

If you purchase the ark, it will come supplied with about 26 animals. These will be replaced over time by original animals from craftsmen from around the world, making the Ark a unique and valuable toy to treasure forever.
